As part of its emergency response, the organization is distributing essential food supplies, focusing on the distribution of bread to families in need.

Amal Al-Umma continues its humanitarian initiative to distribute bread in northern Syria, aiming to provide essential daily sustenance to thousands of displaced and vulnerable families.

Launched over 20 months ago, the project is set to run through December, targeting camps in Azaz, Suran, and other northern Syrian regions. It benefits both displaced families and local residents struggling with harsh living conditions caused by over 13 years of ongoing conflict.

The organization seeks to expand the project to reach more families in need, ensuring access to basic food supplies and supporting survival amid dire circumstances.

Through this initiative, Amal Al-Umma reaffirms its commitment to supporting the most vulnerable and alleviating their suffering.

For hundreds of thousands of families, every loaf of bread delivered is a lifeline, restoring a sense of security to children and vulnerable individuals who have endured years of hardship under the blockade. The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire, with nearly two million displaced residents facing deteriorating conditions.

The recent storm has further exacerbated the crisis, with Gaza’s Government Media Office reporting that approximately 10,000 tents sheltering displaced families were damaged or swept away by strong winds and waves.
