Relief projects for families affected by disasters and wars aim to provide urgent humanitarian support to improve the living conditions of the affected individuals. These projects vary from providing shelter, food, clean water, and education to other basic needs. They also include psychological and social assistance to cope with the trauma.

Relief Support Projects

Providing Daily Bread and Food Baskets for Syrian Refugees

This project aims to provide daily bread and monthly food baskets to approximately 2,500 refugee families on the Syrian-Turkish border. These families face great difficulty in securing their basic needs, including bread, which is a staple food for them.

Amid extreme poverty and the ongoing conflict for 13 years, obtaining food has become nearly impossible. The project seeks to alleviate this suffering by providing daily bread and food baskets containing essential items like rice, sugar, oil, dates, and more, to ensure balanced nutrition for these families, contributing to a sense of stability and hope in their lives.

Providing Bread to Needy Families in the Besieged Gaza Strip

In the besieged Gaza Strip, securing bread has become extremely difficult due to worsening conditions and the ongoing blockade. This project aims to provide bread to approximately 1,000 families in northern and southern Gaza.

The blockade has halted flour supplies, forcing residents to produce low-quality bread, with the daily per capita share now limited to just two pieces. The project seeks to distribute this essential food item to alleviate the burden on these families and contribute to their protection.

Urgent Need for Clean Water in Gaza

Access to clean water is a basic human need, yet many displaced people in Gaza face daily challenges in obtaining it. The project aims to urgently provide clean drinking water to approximately 300 families in four shelter centers in southern Gaza.

Since the beginning of the war, the population has encountered significant difficulties in securing safe drinking water due to damage to infrastructure and contamination, increasing the risk of diseases such as tuberculosis and cholera.

The project seeks to provide clean water through tanks to meet the essential needs of these families, contributing to alleviating their suffering and improving their living conditions.

Clean Drinking Water for Families in Northern Syria

Due to 14 years of conflict, hundreds of thousands of Syrians in the camps in northern Syria lack clean drinking water. This project aims to provide water to about 300 families in three camps in Soran. A UN report states that 15.5 million Syrians are affected, leading to diseases like diarrhea and hepatitis, with the situation worsening in the summer.

The project seeks to provide storage tanks, periodic water deliveries, and quality testing to ensure safe access to water for cooking and sanitation.

Hot Meals for Displaced Families in Gaza

Since October 2023, the Gaza Strip has faced a severe humanitarian crisis, with families struggling to secure food. This project aims to provide hot meals to about 2,000 displaced Palestinians.

The strip is experiencing severe famine, and many go days without eating. The project seeks to deliver varied meals to those in need, bringing hope and nourishment to children and families in Gaza.
